The animal welfare organisation that was the beneficiary of the August StarPet competition, was Soshanguve Animal Shelter and Educentre NPC.
Absolute Pets, together with Starlight Media, are excited to announce the eight LUCKY winners of the August StarPet competition.
Not only did they win their share of R22 500, including R17 000 in Absolute Pets shopping vouchers, but they also helped raise a total of R34 376 for Soshanguve Animal Shelter and Educentre NPC.
StarPet is a feel-good-for-good photo competition that allows people to showcase and celebrate their special little stars while supporting a good cause. 50% of the profits are donated to a charity every month, chosen by the previous month’s winner.

Jackson, a brave survivor from the SPCA, has a special way of showing love—she hugs all day long and looks at people like they're a bit strange! She's always ready for affection and has a knack for making everyone smile.
Meeko is a 5-month-old Chihuahua who loves meeting people, playing with her sisters, and getting all the cuddles she can. Her playful and loving nature makes her a real joy to be around.
Carlisle is a gentle giant of a Swiss Shepherd puppy who loves cuddling and helping his mom feel calm. He's new to puppy training but is already doing great and showing off his skills.
Belle is a fun, outgoing dog who loves playing dress-up and posing for the camera. She shines when she's in the spotlight and makes every photo shoot a blast with her playful personality.
Chase is an 8-year-old Border Collie who has a cute habit of sleeping with his tongue sticking out. He greets us like a long-lost friend and always comes running when he hears a chip packet. His gentle and loving nature makes him a great companion.
Katya is the queen of the house, and she gets what she wants. At 10 years old, she's still playful and enjoys a good cuddle. She loves her special ladder, which keeps her entertained indoors.
Peaches is a charming cat who mixes cuddles with playful antics. Her beautiful fur and sweet eyes make her irresistible, but she also has a playful side with some impressive moves. Whether she's purring in your lap or playing with a toy, Peaches is a wonderful and lively companion.
