StarPet raised over R20,000 for El Pet Pals and none of this could have been possible without YOU!
El Pet Pals is volunteer based, non-profit group who have dedicated their time and efforts to rescue and rehome pets in need.
The way the competition works is that every vote for any photo helps raise funds for an animal welfare organisation chosen by the previous month’s winner. The participants of the competition will walk away with a share of R22,500, out of which R17,000 was in the form of Absolute Pets shopping vouchers.
This competition is all about capturing the cutest, funniest, and most heart-warming moments with your beloved pets on camera and entering them into a competition designed to support animal welfare.

MaYo is an incredibly sweet and special dog with a knack for making people feel cherished. He exudes the friendliest energy, especially around other dogs, and is always ready to spread joy wherever he goes. If you meet MaYo, you'll quickly see why he's considered super special.
Lola is a clever and sassy 7-month-old Biewer Terrier with a cheeky personality. Her adorable pink nose with spots is as unique as her habit of "tiptoeing" to her humans after getting caught being a little naughty. She loves to pounce playfully and always manages to charm her way back into everyone's good graces.
Uri is a loveable companion who thrives on closeness and isn't shy about showing her feelings. She can be a bit clingy and gets jealous like a child, always wanting to be the centre of attention in her family's life.
Taco is a 9-month-old Yorkie who is full of energy and loves to play fetch. He's particularly obsessed with his squeaky wing toy and is always ready to impress his family. Taco also enjoys going to school, where he bonds with his teachers and friends. A lover of car rides, Taco’s favourite part is sticking his head out of the window, feeling the wind in his fur.
Angel is a cuddle enthusiast who loves to chat, nap, and just be around her people. With her unique face and charming personality, she has a way of melting hearts and making every moment a bit more special.
Bianca may be a petite Pekingese, but she carries the heart of a lion. Her bold attitude suggests she could take on the world, yet she's a softy at heart, happiest when she's close to her humans. She's a delightful mix of fierce and affectionate, making her a truly unique companion.
Georgie is a 3-year-old bundle of joy who still plays with the enthusiasm of a kitten. His striking mismatched eyes, one bright blue and one deep green, contrast beautifully with his silky white fur. Georgie is known for his acrobatic jumps and pounces and, when he's done playing, he eagerly seeks out belly rubs. His friendly and curious nature brings endless happiness to his home, making him a charming and delightful companion
