Absolute Pets, together with Starlight Media, are excited to announce the EIGHT LUCKY winners of the April StarPet competition.
Not only did they win their share of R22 500, including R17 000 in Absolute Pets shopping vouchers, but they also helped raise a total of R28 570 for Gauteng-based animal welfare organisation; Husky Rescue!

The three pets that received the most votes for April are:
- 1st Prize: Annie, R4 500 Absolute Pets voucher and R2 250 cash
- 2nd Prize: Ginger, R3 000 Absolute Pets voucher and R1 500 cash
- 3rd Prize: Daisy Mae, R2 000 Absolute Pets voucher and R1 000 cash
Angel’s Choice winners
In addition to receiving a generous donation of R28 570, Husky Rescue also had the honour of selecting this month’s Angel’s Choice winners!
- 1st Prize: Anubis, R2 000 Absolute Pets voucher and R1 000 cash
- 2nd Prize: Monster, R1 500 Absolute Pets voucher and R750 cash
- 3rd Prize: Buddy, R1 000 Absolute Pets voucher and R500 cash
StarPick of the Month
Every month, the wonderful team at StarPet selects one StarPick of the month. Their StarPick for June was none other than Milo who clearly loves being in and around water!

Most Magnificent Mutt
The MuttMix prize is awarded to the dog with the most interesting looking DNA puddle, chosen by the StarPet team
