What a splendid morning with the dogs and pet parents who joined us at our Paws on the Promenade dog walk on Sunday, 1 October.
Well done to the 70 dogs who completed the walk. From young and old, mini’s to large breeds, some shy pups and the not-so-shy who loved all the excitement and attention. We had a great time getting to know them all and they seemed to thoroughly enjoy their morning adventure along the promenade.
Absolute Pets would like to sincerely thank everyone who made a donation to ‘Feeding the Furballs’. They received food donations and cash donations which will help feed a group of kittens under one week old that need special milk as they are being hand reared; and will also be used to buy deworming medication and food for the dogs. Your generosity and support is much appreciated.
We were pleased to see that, other than soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the view with their dogs, many of our dog walkers took the opportunity to find out about training from K9 Communications and bought some wonderful grooming products for their pets from Umhlanga Dog and Cat Grooming Parlour. We also had a few pet’s get microchipped by the team from Creature Care, so overall a fun day for everyone.
